chantelle & jan-stefan
“Marguerite and Roy, where do we even begin? What an incredible power couple. From the very first moment of our wedding day, you made us feel so comfortable and at ease. You both have such a special gift for capturing moments in a way that feels natural, beautiful, and true to who we are. Our photos tell the story of our day so perfectly and feel like the most beautiful reflection of us. Thank you for going the extra mile in every way … we are absolutely obsessed with our photos and cannot stop looking through them and reliving the day.Thank you both so, so much.”
A wedding day in Constantia always carries a certain softness, and Chantelle & Jan-Stefan’s day at Glen Dirk was no exception.
The morning began slowly and with ease. Chantelle spent it surrounded by her girls, a glass of bubbles in hand, while Jan-Stefan and his friends did much the sam, just with whiskey instead. There was laughter on both sides, and a calm that carried through the day from the start.
Rain lingered in the air, adding a bit of unpredictability, but it became part of the story in a way that felt fitting rather than disruptive.
Chantelle’s makeup was done by the best, and her hair by a close family friend, which brought a more personal, intimate feel to the morning. There’s something special about being surrounded by people who know you well in those moments. Across the way, Jan-Stefan and his friends filled the space with laughter.
One of the most personal touches of the day was the letters they wrote to each other, along with their vows. Quiet moments, just before everything begins, that seem to hold so much weight.
The ceremony itself was grounded and heartfelt, with beautiful words shared by their pastor. But for us, one of the most meaningful parts is always turning slightly, looking not only at the couple, but at the people who love them. The expressions, the quiet tears, the pride. And it was all there.
As the ceremony came to a close, confetti filled the air and "Here Comes the Sun" began to play. Almost on cue, the rain started falling. It felt symbolic in its own way; not sunshine in the sky, but something steady and warm between them, regardless of the weather.
Canapés that almost felt too good to be true followed, beautifully prepared by Tamatie Straat. The reception space echoed the gentle nature of the two of them: soft, elegant table décor and a tent filled with light, flowers, conversation, and that unmistakable feeling of a really good celebration unfolding.
Working alongside Chris & Nienie from Second Luke was seamless, as always. And the couple made the day feel effortless. Nothing felt forced, the moments were already there.
The evening unfolded with heartfelt speeches that spoke so clearly of the love between them, a second look we’ll be talking about for a long time, and a dance floor that ended in a silent disco; the kind of ending that feels both unexpected and exactly right.
All of it was brought together by the incredibly talented Amo Creative, who created a day that felt smooth, intentional, and true to them.
Chantelle & Jan-Stefan’s wedding wasn’t about grand gestures or overproduction. It was about people, connection, and a kind of quiet certainty.
And that’s what made it unforgettable.
We hope you enjoy these photos .
