The day began with Nicola and her girls getting ready together, filled with laughter and light-hearted moments. It was one of those mornings where everyone was in high spirits, and Nicola, being her easy-going and radiant self, set the perfect tone. As a bride, she made it clear from the start that she wanted her day to be fun, relaxed, and full of joy, and that’s exactly how it unfolded.
From the moment Roy and I arrived, we knew we were in for something special. Nicola and Louis had a clear vision for their wedding day, and it was such a pleasure to witness it all come together. They were relaxed, excited, and so in love with each other — it made our work easy and incredibly rewarding.
The ceremony at Moederkerk in Stellenbosch was nothing short of breathtaking. Watching Nicola walk down the aisle in such a stunning setting, with the church’s towering spires and historical charm, was a moment we’ll never forget. It was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches, and the atmosphere was filled with emotion.
After the ceremony, we headed out for group photos before making our way to Salene, where the celebration continued. The reception was lively, with everyone clearly enjoying themselves, but before the dancing began, some heartfelt speeches were delivered. The words spoken echoed the deep love and admiration everyone had for Nicola and Louis, and you could feel the warmth and connection in the room.
When the music started, it didn’t take long for the dance floor to fill up. The energy was contagious, and people were ready to party!
